Mini BioBlitz-Mushroom Walk-Nov. 15, 2008
David Lewis, TWiG Leader for the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory (ATBI), in conjunction with the Gulf States Mycological Society, will lead a mushroom walk in the Lance Rosier Unit of the Big Thicket Preserve, on November 15, 2008. Also present will be Jay Justice, a well-known fungi identifier from Arkansas. Meet at the Big Thicket Field Research Station located in Saratoga, Texas.

Saturday EVENING Amphibian survey: join the Houston Zoo amphibian researchers to search for amphibians in the Big Thicket--7:00 p.m.
